Experience the stress reduction while learning tools to help yourself the “Torn Paper Therapy” method with Lisa Brown. Lisa will lead you through the creative process of using images, colors, and forms from magazines to speak for you and to help you visualize what you need for inner peace.

Through the process of creating art we will re-evaluate what is going on around us, discover coping skills that work for us, and uncover our emotional reactions so that we can find our own best coping skills. Lisa will also lead you through a series of journal questions so that you discern the deeper meaning in what you have created as you look closely at the images you have selected.

  • Each session will be an experiential exploration using tools to tap into personal stories and related feelings.
  • For each month you will create a piece that represents the theme we are examining
  • You will have an opportunity to discover what media speaks for you
  • Using creative techniques, we will touch on and review life experiences.
  • Find deeper meaning by using your creativity and journal writing
  • Learn ways to illustrate your world as you revisit your sense of play!
