Lisa Brown

Lisa Brown has been teaching and exhibiting for over 30 years.  She specializes in "Art as Therapy," a program which she developed for clients and their families suffering in illness (particularly, cancer patients).  She has an MA in Creative Arts Education and 8 years of Art Therapy study with Dr. Erika Steinberger, Ph.D., A.T.R.  She is an Assistant Supervisor for Creative Journal Expressive Arts under Lucia Capacchione, A.R.T., PhD author of 13 books on Art/Journaling Therapy, including Picture of Health and Recovery of Your Inner Child, Visioningâ and The Power of Your Other Hand.  Lisa brings with her an expertise in a variety of art media and a playful way of encouraging exploration and expression.
